My fuel card doesn't work or is missing

What to do if the vehicle's fuel card is playing up, missing, or won't work at the bowser

Whether your fuel card isn't working or is missing from the car, don't worry - you can pay for fuel yourself and get reimbursed through the app.

Reasons why the fuel card might not work:

  • You're using the wrong PIN number: my fuel card doesnt work or is missing
  • The PIN is specific to the car. Please check the app for the PIN. Visit Bookings and tap on your current booking to see the pin.
  • You've purchased the wrong fuel
  • The fuel cards are programmed to only work with the right fuel for the car. If you've used the wrong fuel, the card won't work.
  • Check your booking confirmation, the fuel cardholder or your app for the correct fuel to use. Tap on the fuel pin in the app to see the correct fuel type.
  • The card is faulty
  • Please pay for fuel and keep hold of the receipt and we will refund you.

The fuel card is missing from the car

If you are in Sydney and get to the car and can't find the fuel card at all:

  1. Check the door pocket or glovebox If you still can't find it, pay for fuel yourself, keep your itemised tax receipt, and submit a reimbursement request (see below).
  2. Let us know - please contact GoGet support to report the missing card so we can sort it out for the next member. You can reach us via the app or at calling 1300 769 389.

Getting a fuel reimbursement

If you've had to pay for fuel yourself - whether the card wasn't working or wasn't there - here's how to get your money back:

  1. Take a photo of the itemised tax receipt (the full receipt showing fuel type, litres, and price)
  2. Go to Profile > Fuel reimbursement in the app
  3. Submit your request

You'll only be able to do this once your booking has finished.
