#6 Keep it clean

Leave it as you would like to find it. Take all of your rubbish and belongings with you, if you make a mess clean it up.

We regularly clean all GoGet vehicles, but there will generally be a few members who use the vehicle in between each clean. It is your responsibility as a member of the GoGet community to do your bit to ensure your GoGet vehicle is kept clean and tidy, as if it was your own vehicle.

Make sure to take all your rubbish and belongings with you and leave it how you would like to find it. Please remember that fines will apply for members who leave the vehicle messy or dirty as this causes inconvenience for future members.


What to do if your vehicle has been left dirty by a previous member

If at the start of your booking, you notice that your GoGet vehicle has been left dirty or is in need of a clean, you can report it through the GoGet app. Take photos of the mess and under your current booking, there is a ‘Report Cleanliness’ link where you can upload the photos.

We will endeavour to get one of our awesome Fleet Crew out there ASAP to clean it, so it will be squeaky clean again for your next trip.

If the vehicle is too dirty to use

Give us a call on 1300 769 389 or start a chat so we can arrange an alternate vehicle for you nearby.


Leave it as you would like to find it

Take all your rubbish and belongings with you. If you make a mess, it is your responsibility to clean it up before the end of your booking.

How to avoid additional charges or fines

Always remember that fines will apply if you leave any kind of mess in a GoGet vehicle.

We are a community service and each vehicle services around 30 members in your community. Our aim is to ensure that all vehicles are kept clean and maintained to the highest standards for our members.

But we do need your help to make sure that your GoGet vehicle is left mess-free at the end of your booking. Fines will apply for non-compliance and in some instances if we receive multiple complaints about the same member, it may result in their account being suspended.

We take the cleanliness of our vehicles very seriously and strive to provide a fantastic experience for each and every member.


No Smoking

All GoGet vehicles are No Smoking

Heavy fines will apply for members who are caught smoking in our vehicles as this can seriously inconvenience members with future bookings.


Pets policy

We provide a range of vehicles that are pet-friendly. You can specifically search for pet-friendly vehicles in the GoGet app using the handy pet filter.

If the vehicle has the pet-friendly icon next to it, you’re right to take your furry friend along for the ride.

However, pets are not allowed in non pet-friendly GoGet vehicles under any circumstances, unless they are an on-duty service dog.

Please keep in mind that some people are allergic to dogs and in the interest of making sure our vehicles are available for everyone in the community, please do your best to clean up any hair or mess your furry friend leaves behind.

It is your responsibility to remove mess from the vehicle, whether it be human mess or animal mess before the end of your booking, so that the vehicle is left clean and ready for the next member.

What to do if you left something in a GoGet vehicle

Accessing a GoGet vehicle outside your booking time can result in a system-generated fine being issued to you.

If you’re still at the vehicle, and it is outside your booking time, check if the vehicle will still let you in by tapping on. If so, you can open it and retrieve your belongings and then tap off to lock the vehicle again. As long as you don’t drive the vehicle and remember to successfully tap off, you won’t receive a fine.
