How do I refuel or open the bonnet on my car?

Refuelling and bonnet release procedures for every car in the GoGet fleet.

Toyota Yaris

Fuel Cap

Watch this video below to see how to refuel the Toyota Yaris.

  1. To open the fuel cap, there's a switch on the right side of the driver's footwell, at the bottom of the driver's seat itself. The fuel cap is on the left side of the door, by the way.

  2. Pull up the lever to release the fuel cap

  3. open the fuel cap, and unscrew the extra plastic cap to gain access to the petrol tank.

  4. Insert the fuel nozzle and fill up with petrol until full.

  5. Screw the plastic cap back on

  6. Press the fuel cap closed (it should click when closed properly).

Watch this video to see it in action:

  1. In the unlikely event that you need to get into the bonnet, you'll find the release trigger below and to the right of the steering wheel, underneath the ignition button.

  2. Pull the bonnet release

  3. Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself to the right side of the Toyota badge. Lift it upwards to get it to catch.

  4. Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet. This will keep it open.

  5. Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Kia Picanto

Fuel Cap Release

The fuel release lever will be on the floor to the right of the driver's seat

Kia Picanto - Fuel filler lid - Features of your vehicle
  1. Go to the floor to the right of the front right corner of the driver's seat

  2. Pull the lever with the fuel icon on it upwards

  3. The Fuel Cap on the side of the car will pop open

  4. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise

  5. Fill up the car with the specified fuel in the booking confirmation

  6. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and close the fuel cap until it clicks shut.

Bonnet Release

  1. The latch to release the bonnet is to the right of the accelerator pedal

2. Pull the lever towards you to release the bonnet

How to open the bonnet of Kia Picanto (Updated 07/2021)

3. Reach under the gap between the bonnet and the KIA badge, you will feel a small lever. Push this upwards while pulling the bonnet up with your other hand.

4. Prop up the bonnet by grabbing the prop to the left of the bonnet and sticking it into the holder on top

5. When finished, release the prop and lay it back down again, while holding the bonnet up with your other hand. Slowly close the bonnet, and give it a final push down until you hear it click into place.


Mistubishi Mirage

Fuel Cap Release

  1. Find the fuel lever on the floor of the car, to the right of the driver's seat

  2. Pull the lever upwards

  3. The Fuel Cap to the side of the car will pop open

  4. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder

  5. Fill up the car with the specified fuel in the booking confirmation

  6. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and close the fuel cap until it clicks shut.

Bonnet Release

  1. Locate the bonnet release lever to the right of the Driver's right leg, close to pedals.

2. Pull the lever towards you to release the bonnet

3. Place your fingers under the hood above the badge. You should feel a latch. Push it to the left.

4. Lift the bonnet prop up, and wedge it into the hole at the top.

5. When finished, release the prop and lay it back down again, while holding the bonnet up with your other hand. Slowly close the bonnet, and give it a final push down until you hear it click into place.


Toyota Corolla

Fuel Cap release

  1. Pull up the fuel release lever which is to the right of the driver's seat on the floor.

  2. The Fuel Cap to the side of the car will pop open

  3. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder

  4. Fill up the car with the specified fuel in the booking confirmation

  5. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and close the fuel cap until it clicks shut.

Bonnet Release

Release the bonnet under the dashboard to the right of the driver's seat. Then squeeze the latch under the bonnet, and prop it up with the rod inside.

  1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel under the dashboard. Pull it towards you.

  2. Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself above the Toyota badge. Lift it upwards to get it to catch.

  3. Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet. This will keep it open.

  4. Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Kia Cerato

Fuel Release

  1. The fuel cap is opened by pulling the fuel release lever. It is to the right of the driver's seat on the floor.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

  4. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Bonnet release

  1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel under the dashboard. Pull it towards you.

Toyota Prius

Refuelling

  1. The fuel cap is opened by pushing the fuel release button inside the car. It is to the right of the driver's wheel under the dashboard.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

    Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Releasing the bonnet

  1. The hood is to the right of the driver's shin.

2. Pull the lever towards you

3. Release the safety catch by pushing it to the right, and lift up the bonnet with your other hand.

4. Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet by wedging it into the hole at the top. This will keep it open.

5. Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the prop stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down where you found it. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Toyota RAV4

Refuelling

  1. The fuel cap is opened by pulling the fuel release lever. It is to the right of driver's steering wheel, under the dashboard. Push the button.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

  4. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Bonnet Release

1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel, under the dashboard. Pull it towards you to release the bonnet.

2. Reach between the gap of the bonnet and the toyota badge. Find the lever and push it to the left (the small picture is a close up of the release lever). Lift the bonnet up with your other hand.

3. Release the support prop from under the bonnet, and insert it into the hole shown in the picture on the right. Once stable, you can let go of the bonnet.

6. When finished, return the prop to where you found it, and close the bonnet until you hear it "click" into place.


Kia Sportage

Refuelling

  1. Press the fuel cap on the side of the car. It will pop straight out. There's no button inside the car.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

  4. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Bonnet release

  1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel under the dashboard. Pull it towards you.

  2. Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself above the badge. Lift it upwards to get it to catch, and lift the bonnet with your other hand.

Mitsubishi Outlander

Refuelling

  1. The fuel cap is opened by pulling the fuel release lever. It is to the right of the driver's seat on the floor.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

  4. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Bonnet Release

  1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel next to the pedals. Pull it to release the bonnet.

  2. Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself above the badge. Hold the bonnet with one hand, and with the other find the lever above the badge, and push it to the left. Once released, lift the bonnet up.

  3. Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet by wedging it into the hole at the top. This will keep it open.

  4. Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the prop stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down where you found it. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Nissan X-Trail

Refuelling

Pull the lever to the right of driver's shin. Unscrew, refill, screw back, and close the fuel cap.

  1. The fuel cap is opened by pulling the fuel release lever. It is to the right of the steering wheel under the dashboard.

  2. The fuel cap will pop open on the side of the car. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

  3. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

  4. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

Bonnet release

  1. The bonnet release lever is to the right of the steering wheel under the dashboard. Pull it towards you.

  2. Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself above the badge. Push it to the left to get it to catch, and lift the bonnet with your other hand.

  3. Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet by wedging it into the hole at the top. This will keep it open.

  4. Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the prop stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down where you found it. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Mitsubishi Cross

Refuelling

The Fuel cap release lever is located to the right of the driver's seat on the floor.

Pull the lever to release the fuel cap.

The Fuel flap will pop out to the left back of the car. Pop it open fully.

Place the fuel cap on the flap and fill the tank fully.

When tank is full, screw the cap back on and close the flap until it clicks shut. The car is now refuelled.

Bonnet release

The bonnet release lever is located to the right of the driver's foot. Pull it to release.

Place your fingers in the gap at the front of the car, just above the badge.

There will be a tab just above the badge. Push it to the left.

Using the prop to the right of the engine, while lifting the bonnet place the prop underneath the bonnet to support the bonnet. Now you can do whatever you need to do to the engine without holding the bonnet up.

When you're finished, release the prop and lower the bonnet. It should click shut, and there should be no gap between the bonnet and the front vent. The bonnet is now closed.


Mitsubishi ASX

How to Refuel

  1. The fuel lever is located to the right of the driver's seat, on the floor. Pull it to release the petrol flap.

  2. The petrol flap is on the back left of the car. Pull it fully open, and unscrew the petrol tank cap anticlockwise to remove it.

  3. Fill the tank up completely using your GoGet fuel card supplied in the car.

  4. Screw the cap back on, and shut the fuel flap until it clicks.

  5. The petrol tank is now filled.

Bonnet Release

  1. Find the bonnet release lever next to the driver's right foot.

  2. Pull the lever.

  3. Go to the front of the car. There will be a gap between the vent and the bonnet. Put your fingers into the gap above the vehicle badge - there will be a tab.

  4. Push this tab to the left to release the bonnet, and lift the bonnet with your other hand.

  5. Use the prop on the right or left side of the engine to support the bonnet. You can now access the bonnet without holding it up.

  6. To close the bonnet, place the prop back where you found it. Close the bonnet gently, with a final push until it "clicks" in. There should be no gap at the opening of the bonnet.

  7. The bonnet is now closed.


Toyota Hiace Van

Fuel Release

1. The Fuel release is to the right of the driver's shin, under the dashboard. Pull the lever with the fuel icon on it. This will release the fuel cap.

2. The fuel cap is next to the passenger door towards the front of the vehicle.

3. Unscrew the plastic cap anti-clockwise and place it in the fuel cap holder.

4. Refuel using the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation.

5. Screw the plastic cap back on (clockwise) and shut the fuel cap until it clicks.

BONNET

The bonnet release is on the bottom right of the console towards the door. You will need to bend down to help locate this. Pull towards your body to unlock the bonnet.

Renault Kangoo

Fuel Cap Release

  1. Place your finger in the indent on the fuel flap, and pull it open.

2. Insert the ignition key and turn the fuel cap open.

3. Fill the tank with the fuel type specified in your booking confirmation. GoGet covers fuel, so it's best to fill it up completely.

4. Pay for the fuel using the GoGet fuel card in the vehicle. The PIN can be found in your booking confirmation.

5. Put the fuel cap back on and close the flap.

Bonnet Release

  1. Pull the bonnet release lever. It can be found on the passenger side below the glovebox.

2. A gap will open at the front of the vehicle.

3. Reach into the gap, to the right of the vehicle badge. There will be a tab. Push the tab to the left and lift the bonnet at the same time.

4. Prop the bonnet up with the stick at the side of the engine.

5. To close, release the stick and lower down the bonnet. The bonnet should click shut, and there should be no gap.


Toyota Hilux Ute

Fuel release

On our Hilux Utes, the petrol cap is located underneath the tray, in the middle. If you go to the back of tray and look underneath, you'll be able to see it.

The fuel cap in the middle of underneath the tray, near the spare tyre.

To open the fuel cap, take the pole that comes with the Ute and hook the hooked end onto the fuel cap.

Unscrew the fuel cap by rotating it counterclockwise. Once released, fill the car up with fuel using your GoGet fuel card.

When finished, screw the fuel cap bak on and place the pole back where you found it. Done!

Bonnet release

To open the bonnet, pull the lever to the right of the driver's right knee, inside the car.

Once you've popped the bonnet, you'll find the lever to open the bonnet itself above the badge. Lift it upwards to get it to catch, and lift the bonnet with your other hand.

Use the prop stick at the side of the bonnet to hold up the bonnet by wedging it into the hole at the top. This will keep it open.

Once the bonnet needs to be closed, release the prop stick out of the hole in the bonnet and lay it down where you found it. Let the bonnet close. Give the bonnet a final push downwards until you hear it click. The bonnet is now closed.


Kia Carnival

Fuel cap release
