Penalties for using a car with no booking

All GoGet trips require a booking.

You can book GoGet cars as far in advance or as last minute as you’d like. You can even book for the current hour if you need to drive right away.

Most members only book a few hours in advance. To ensure you get a car over long weekends and holidays, you may need to book further in advance.


If you drive a car you don't have a booking for, you will be charged:

  • A minimum $25 fine per day (overnight and multi-day trips will get multiple fines)

  • A $25 fine for each member inconvenienced

  • Booking charges and kilometres for the car that is used, in addition to the booking charges for the car that is booked (if applicable)
