How do I unlock a GoGet car?

Use your GoGet smartcard to unlock and lock your GoGet.

We will post out a smartcard to you, but if you need to drive today, you can collect one from a local newsagent or GoGet pickup location.

If you are in NSW or QLD you can collect a smartcard from the car on your next booking. Click here for more information. If you don’t collect a smartcard we'll post you one. You can choose to pick up a GoGet smartcard from a Retail Partner if you need it sooner.

To unlock your GoGet:

• Tap your smartcard on the windscreen reader (tap on)
• The keys are in the vehicle (except for push button start vehicles)
• You will lock & unlock your GoGet with your smartcard during your booking
• At the end of your trip, return your GoGet to the pod you picked it up from and tap to lock (tap off). Make sure it is locked.
