When you sign up for GoGet we will need to verify your identity. To do this we need to scan either your driver's license or passport and your face and will need access to your phone's camera to do so.

Camera Permission Troubleshooting

Allowing your browser to access your camera (iOS)

  1. Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Go to Privacy & Security: Tap on "Privacy & Security".

  3. Select Camera: Tap on "Camera".

  4. Choose your browser: Find the browser you're using (e.g. Safari, Chrome) in the list of apps.

Allow access: Tap the toggle next to your browser to allow camera access. It should turn green.

Allowing your browser to access your camera (Android)

There are two ways to allow camera access, depending on whether you blocked it before:

If you haven't blocked camera access before:

  1. Tap the More menu in your browser: Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser.

  2. Go to Site Settings: Tap "Settings", then "Site Settings".

  3. Allow camera access: Tap "Camera", then tap the toggle to turn it on.

If you previously blocked camera access:

  1. Tap the More menu in your browser: Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser.

  2. Go to Site Settings: Tap "Settings", then "Site Settings".

  3. Find Camera settings: Tap "Camera".

  4. Unblock GoGet: Find the GoGet website address (it will start with https://app.goget.com.au) in the "Blocked" list and tap it.

  5. Allow access: Tap "Allow" to give the site permission to use your camera.

Allowing camera access in your device settings (for browser apps)

If you're using the app version of your browser (like the Chrome app), you'll also need to allow camera access in your device settings:

  1. Open your device settings: Go to the Settings app on your phone.

  2. Find your browser: Tap "Apps", then find your browser (e.g. Chrome). You might need to tap "See all apps".

  3. Allow camera access: Tap "Permissions", then "Camera", then choose "Allow only while using the app".

Note: If you're still having trouble after making these changes, try refreshing the page.
